The whole case, analyzed before the hearing.
Prosecutor packets, discovery, body camera, jail calls, and recorded interviews, turned into court-ready defense analysis in minutes. Built with Maryland criminal defense attorneys for the windows that decide a client's liberty, and live in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Six reports, one click, every line tied to a source.
Criminal and traffic analysis live
Charge-by-charge elements against the documented evidence, suppression and procedural issues, speedy-trial math, sentencing exposure, and concrete next actions, grounded in the official Code for the case's state. On a DUI file the administrative side surfaces in the same run, including the implied-consent advisement and refusal issues.
Video cross-examination live
Written reports checked against the body camera footage: contradictions with timestamps, ready-to-use cross-examination lines, and field sobriety tests audited step by step against the NHTSA manual. Recordings with no usable audio are processed from the video and say so.
Bail review live
Risk factors, mitigating factors, recommended arguments, and the holes in the State's own packet, ready inside the 24 to 48 hour window that decides detention.
Protective and peace orders live
Respondent-side analysis for a hearing days away: allegations against the standard of proof, the protective versus peace order track, relief-scope overreach, service defects, collateral consequences, and the interplay with the criminal case, including whether the client should testify.
Case law you can stand on live
Every citation in every report is checked against the official appellate corpus for the state and the federal tier. A case that resolves shows its official source. A case matched only by name is flagged for verification. A case that does not exist is refused, not invented.
Administrative hearings live
For counsel to a police officer facing discipline: each specification measured against the record, the Police Accountability Act procedure from the official Public Safety Article text, recorded statements set against the investigator's summaries, and exposure and penalty posture. Firm-private in its entirety.
The investigation, in order, from the first call to the charging document.
A chronology that prints
Every event dated and tied to the document it came from. Set beside the footage and the transcripts, it shows where the written narrative departs from the record and how the pieces were put together. The attorney extends it, and it exports as an exhibit.
An assistant that cites
Ask the file a question. Every answer names its source document, engages bad facts honestly, and never invents a citation. No conversation is stored anywhere. History lives in your browser and dies when you leave the page.
Notes that stay with the case
A notes tab on every case, by date, retained by the firm. Paste the call summary, the client's account, the strategy memo, and keep the running record beside the analysis.
The room you are walking into
The judge's tendencies on motions, sentencing, and plea terms. The prosecutor's posture, offer trajectory, and whether the handshake holds. The officer's record on the stand and any Brady or Giglio disclosure. How the network works →
Every legal source labeled
Citations render as Attorney Verified only when a human has verified that entry against the reference on their desk. Everything else shows its retrieval source plainly. The system cannot promote its own output to verified.
Verify before use, always
Every report ends with every legal reference it made, restated for attorney verification. Pretext drafts the analysis. The attorney owns the law.
Drop a whole discovery production. Nothing is silently dropped.
Every format the State sends
PDF, TIFF, and photo scans up to 500 MB. Word, Excel, iPhone photos, text and CSV exports. Body camera and dash camera in MP4, MOV, WEBM, ASF, WMV, and AVI. Jail calls and interviews in MP3, M4A, WAV, and WMA. Up to 10 GB and four hours per recording, no splitting required.
Zip archives and whole folders
Drop the production as one zip of up to 2,000 files, or upload an entire folder with its subfolders. It expands in the background while you keep working, and anything Pretext cannot take is reported back to you by name with the reason.
Read, not skimmed
Documents are read directly or OCR'd; a 65-page packet is read in about 20 seconds, and a 200-page report is split and read in page order. Recordings are transcribed verbatim with timestamps and speaker labels, and audio that no decoder recognizes is reported rather than guessed.
Three states, one workflow
A case is born in one state, and every statute, opinion, roster, and prompt it touches is scoped to that state. Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania are live. A multi-state firm switches states from the sidebar.
Two weeks on your own cases. Free.
Upload a redacted packet or work a live case alongside your normal process and see what the analysis catches. Your firm gets its own isolated environment the same day. No setup, no card, no obligation.
